The short version: your golf data stays on your device. The App collects only anonymous usage statistics (which screens are opened and which features are used) so we can improve it. There are no accounts, no names, no e-mail addresses, no location, no advertising and no sale of data.
Anonymous usage analytics. The App records events such as "app opened", "onboarding completed", "purchase screen viewed", "round started", "hole score entered", "round finished", "profile saved", "course created", together with a small set of technical details: a random device identifier, a random session identifier, the platform (iOS or Android), the App version and build number, the interface language, whether a paid subscription is active, and the time of the event. Event details may include non-identifying counts and settings — for example the chosen game format, the number of players in a round, the number of holes entered, or whether a handicap was filled in. We never collect your name, your players' names, your course names, your scores, your e-mail address, your location, your contacts, or any advertising identifier.
Random device identifier. On first launch the App generates a random identifier (UUID) that is stored only on your device and attached to the events above. It is not derived from your device hardware, Apple ID, Google account or any advertising identifier, and it does not allow us to identify you. Deleting the App deletes this identifier; a fresh install generates a new one.
Purchase status. When you buy a subscription, our subscription provider (see below) confirms to the App whether the subscription is active. We receive anonymous purchase events (for example "purchase completed", plan chosen) but never your payment or card details.
Nothing else. The App contains no account system, no advertising or tracking SDKs, no third-party data collection for advertising, and does not request or use device location (GPS).
Only to understand how the App is used and to improve it: which screens and features are popular, where users get stuck (for example in onboarding or when creating a course), how many holes are typically entered, which game formats are played, and whether the purchase screen works as intended. We also use aggregate counts (daily active devices, retention) to run the service. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions that affect you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Your golf data — rounds, scores, courses, players, handicap indexes, statistics, settings — is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to it and cannot retrieve, restore or delete it for you. If you delete the App or lose your device, this data is gone. Any backup or cross-device transfer happens only through your device's own backup system (e.g. Apple iCloud or Google backup), governed by Apple's or Google's policies, not ours.
Anonymous analytics events are sent over an encrypted connection to our analytics database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com) in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). The App can only write events; it cannot read any data back. Because these events contain no personal data and cannot be linked to you, we retain them indefinitely — for as long as the App is offered — to compare usage across seasons and years; we may delete or aggregate them at any time at our discretion.
We share data only with the processors needed to run the App, and only the minimum described here:
• Supabase, Inc. — hosts the anonymous analytics database (EU region).
• RevenueCat, Inc. — manages subscriptions and confirms their status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and receipt data from Apple or Google; we attach our random device identifier as an attribute so purchase status can be matched with anonymous usage. RevenueCat's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments. We never receive or store your payment information.
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions, processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive or store your payment information or card details; Apple's and Google's handling of that information is governed by their respective privacy policies.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The analytics we collect are anonymous.
Because analytics are tied only to a random identifier, we cannot link them to you and therefore cannot look up, correct or export "your" records on request. You can stop all future collection at any time by deleting the App; this also destroys the random identifier on your device, so any later install starts as a new anonymous device. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, California or another jurisdiction with privacy rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar), you may still contact us at the address below with any request or question, and we will respond as required by law. We have never sold personal information.
Events are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access restricted to us; the App's embedded credentials allow writing events only. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice to you. Changes take effect immediately upon posting, indicated by the "Last Updated" date above. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes acceptance.
The App is provided "AS IS," and to the maximum extent permitted by law we make no warranty and accept no liability regarding data, security, or privacy, including any matter outside our control such as your device, your operating system, or Apple's, Google's or our service providers' services.
